Objectives
- We aim to exploit the heterogeneity within and between the countries under study – Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Ecuador – in order to:
- Systematically document each country’s experience and approach to PHC and its differential effectiveness on a broad range of morbidity and mortality outcomes, with special focus on health-related SDGs and reduction of health inequalities.
- Forecast the effects of a broad range of differential increases in PHC coverage versus scenarios of stabilization or decreases on health outcomes up to 2030.
- Consolidate a network of Latin American researchers based on an open dynamic platform and public datasets for continuous cycles of monitoring, evaluation and forecasting.

Impact of the social determinants, transference of performance and basic attention to health in HIV/aids: a retrospective and forecasting survey based on a cohort of 100 Brazilian citizens.
Site: http://www.isc.ufba.br/dsaids/
I study the effects of socio-economic determinants, programs of transference of income and basic attention to health in the incidence, hospitalization, adherence to treatment and mortality of HIV/AIDS. For this, I will use one of the major bases of existing longitude dice: a Coorte de 100 Milhões de Brasileiros – do Centro de Integração de Dados e Conhecimentos para Saúde da Fiocruz Bahia (Cidacs/ Fiocruz Bahia) – through the linkage of socio-economic and sausage dice . The project is led by the Instituto de Saúde Coletiva from the Federal University of Bahia (ISC/UFBA) in collaboration with the Citizens and with the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA).
